MSP Well, the not‑for‑profit organization dedicated to advancing mental health and wellness across the IT and Managed Service Provider (MSP) community, is proud to announce the appointment of Scott Barlow to its Executive Advisor Board.
Scott Barlow brings over 25 years of experience in the IT industry with a strong background in executive leadership and the not-for-profit sector. In this role, he will focus on leading the organization to further strengthen MSP Well’s ability to support individuals, teams, and organizations across the technology ecosystem.
Scott joins an esteemed group of advisors including Rob Rae, Christine Ululati, and Larry Meador, further strengthening MSP Well’s leadership as the organization expands its mission to deliver meaningful, accessible mental wellness support to IT professionals across North America.
Scott Barlow is widely respected in the IT channel for his long‑standing leadership, strategic insight, and deep commitment to community building. Throughout his career, Scott has worked closely with MSPs, technology vendors, and industry leaders, earning a reputation as a trusted advisor who combines business acumen with a people‑first mindset. His passion for mentorship, culture, and sustainable leadership makes him a powerful addition to MSP Well’s advisory board.
“Scott brings a rare combination of strategic clarity, empathy, and years of experience in the IT channel,” said Joe Ussia, Co‑Founder and CEO of MSP Well.
“As MSP Well continues to grow, it’s critical that we surround ourselves with leaders who not only understand the pressures of this industry, but who genuinely care about the people in it. I am incredibly excited and honoured to welcome Scott to the Executive Advisor Board alongside Rob, Christine, and Larry.”
Scott’s appointment reflects MSP Well’s commitment to building a diverse and experienced advisory team that understands both the operational realities of the IT industry and the human cost of burnout, stress, and mental health challenges.
“Scott has consistently shown up for this community with integrity and intention,” said James Mignacca, Co‑Founder of MSP Well.
“His voice carries weight because it’s grounded in real experience. He genuinely cares for people. We are honoured to have Scott join us, and we’re excited for the impact his perspective will have as we continue to shape MSP Well’s programs and outreach.”
As an Executive Advisor, Scott will support MSP Well in strategic planning, community engagement, and advocacy, helping ensure the organization delivers practical, relevant, and compassionate mental wellness resources to MSPs, vendors, and IT professionals at every stage of their careers.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to support MSP Well and its mission,” said Scott Barlow.
“Mental health and wellness are no longer optional conversations in our industry. The topic is an essential one that needs to be addressed head on, and I believe MSP Well is the right organization to achieve this. I’m honoured to stand alongside this group of leaders and contribute to work that truly matters.”
